Masterypath Inc. ยท Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Masterypath Inc. ("Masterypath," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Masterypath website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
I. Information We Collect
A. Account and Profile Information
When you create or manage an account, we may collect your handle, name, email address, phone number (if provided), authentication credentials, and related profile details.
B. Organization Information
If you create or join an organization, we collect organization names, membership and permission data, invitations, and API key metadata needed to operate multi-user workspaces.
C. Learning and Content Data
We collect content you create or upload in the Service, including topics, mindmaps, chat messages, flashcards, explanations, training session inputs, and related teaching materials, as well as usage signals needed to provide those features.
D. Device, Logs, and Local Storage
We automatically collect technical information such as browser or device type, IP address, approximate location derived from network data, log events, and crash or performance data. The Service may store tokens, preferences, and similar data in browser local or session storage and, for progressive web app installs, related caches.
E. Information from Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only the basic profile information you authorize: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use it solely to create and authenticate your Masterypath account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google data.
Masterypath's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law.
II. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
III. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers that host infrastructure, process authentication, deliver email, or otherwise help us operate the Service, under contracts that limit use of the data;
- AI model providers that process the content you submit (such as chat messages and uploaded materials) to generate tutoring responses, analysis, and flashcards. We send only what is needed for the request, and we do not permit these providers to use it to train their models where our agreements allow us to prevent it;
- Organization administrators and members according to permissions you or your organization configure;
- Professional advisors, or authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction, subject to this Policy's protections.
IV. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our retention practices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update many account details in the Service. To make a privacy request, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
VI. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
VII. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
VIII. International Users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
